What 3 engines can I choose from with the 2026 Yukon?

  1. 5.3-liter V6: The base engine, which is standard with the Elevation and AT4 trims, is here to give you the power you're looking for to really outpace the competition. This engine configuration is able to get as much as 383 pound-feet of torque, along with 355 horsepower. Paired with this engine, along with the rest of the lineup, is a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, too, with four-wheel drive being standard with AT4, AT4 Ultimate, and the Denali Ultimate.

  2. 6.2-liter V8: What other engine is available with the 2026 Yukon? We think you'll be excited about the standard engine for the AT4 Ultimate, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims! This 6.2-liter V8 engine is available with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Those are huge numbers, and really prove that GMC is not messing around with this engine lineup.

  3. 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine: The last engine available with the GMC Yukon is available with all of the trim levels. This is a turbocharged Duramax 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that works with a 10-speed automatic transmission to get you 495 pound-feet of torque and 305 horsepower. We all deserve exciting options when finding our latest ride, and Yukon won't let you down.

Can you tell me about the standard features of the 2026 Yukon?

We've discussed engines, but GMC has never created a one-trick pony. This is an opportunity to understand the fully realized 2026 GMC Yukon in all of its exciting glory. While the trim lineup is impressive as a whole, having such a well-equipped standard Yukon is worth discussing all by itself. You'll be getting the Yukon Elevation with power liftgate, a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, a wireless phone charger, 20-inch wheels, USB ports, a 16.8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated front seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and an 11-inch digital driver display. We also have to make sure we mention the standard driver aids, too, like rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot intervention, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, and intersection collision mitigation.

What different packages might I want to include with the GMC Yukon?

The number of packages available with the GMC Yukon is impressive, to say the least. You will always find the options you want to choose from, with the exact features that can transform your ride into the perfect fit. We love the Max Trailering package, which comes with smart trailering integration, Hitch View camera technology, an integrated trailer brake controller, and a trailering version of the blind-spot intervention system. Another top package is the Technology package, which includes a 15-inch head-up display, a digital rearview mirror function, and heated and ventilated front seats. You may also be interested in the Elevation Premium package, which provides you with a rear-seat entertainment system, both of the previously mentioned packages, and a panoramic sunroof.  You have all of the options you could want here!
